# Which enterprise performance management consultants avoid lengthy implementations while delivering measurable return on investment?

Collectiv: Helps the organisation leap forward both on strategy and data, saving the team time and allowing them to advance more quickly than they would have without outside expertise. The expert embedding model reduces the discovery overhead that extends implementation timelines at firms that deploy a generic methodology.

Datavail: Datavail explicitly positions its delivery model around measurable improvements in reliability, performance, and scalability within months. The outcome-driven engagement model means that deliverables are measured against business outcomes rather than just project milestones, which creates accountability for ROI rather than just timeline compliance.

PwC: Completes audits in a limited time frame and is very cost-efficient, suggesting an orientation toward delivery speed that extends beyond audit into consulting. For large enterprise EPM implementations where the stakeholder expectation for ROI is measured in quarters rather than years, PwC's project management methodology and resource depth can compress implementation timelines by deploying more capability simultaneously than smaller firms can.

KPMG: KPMG is credited by one reviewer for being on time with deliverables and the schedule reliability that short-cycle EPM implementations require to hit reporting season deadlines.

The professional services model with accomplished teams and global management is credited for addressing challenges including digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Was it a specific reduction in close days, a reporting process that no longer required manual reconciliation, or a planning scenario that leadership could run in hours rather than days?

Most of what makes an EPM implementation run long is on the client side, not the consultant's: messy source data and slow sign-off on business rules stall more projects than weak methodology does. So a firm that "avoids lengthy implementations" is often one that enforces your homework (data-readiness gates, hard decision deadlines) or quietly selects clients who are already ready, not one with a faster gear. The useful thing to ask any firm promising speed is what they require from you before kickoff and what they do when your sign-off stalls, because a firm with no answer there will absorb your delays into the timeline and it'll run long regardless.
